My Path To HNGi8

My Path To HNGi8

Surfacing as the very best of candidates out of a large pool of participants

So What's HNGi by the way?

HNG Internship is a long running, large scale virtual internship for people learning to code and design. It focuses on the post-training phase, and creates a virtual work environment for participants. It was in 2020 while i was scrolling on twitter where i first saw the HNGi7 post, what caught my attention was that it was free and remote friendly as it allows participants from all over the globe.

I applied and got selected to join for the 2020 cohort "well getting a selected is not an issue, seeing through the internship is were hardwork and dedication is required", i reached stage 5 where i got evicted because i didn't submit my assigned team`s task.

They say fail forward.

Now it's 2021 and there is HNGi8 going on i've applied through internship.zuri.team again and of course i've been selected to join the internship, i've learnt my lesson this time my target is to get to stage 10 and finish the internship as an Android Engineer with lots of associates and finally get a remote job.
